Dear baseball,
I think it’s time you and I had a little talk about this stupid policy of not letting a game end in a tie.
It’s almost midnight, and I’ve been listening (or, rather, the WHOLE NEIGHBORHOOD) has been listening to the game since 7pm. My Dad loves the sport, but, being 92 years old, has some issues with his hearing, so when he visits, the volume control on the TV reaches heights it never has before.
It’s now the FREAKING 13TH INNING, with no end in sight, and I WANT THIS GAME OVER NOW.
Thank you.
